Whistleblowing Policy

1. Policy Statement
First Laser Technology Sdn. Bhd. is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability in all business activities.

This Whistleblowing Policy provides a safe and confidential channel for employees, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to report any suspected misconduct, unethical behavior, or violations of company policies without fear of retaliation.

The Company encourages all parties to raise genuine concerns regarding improper conduct that may negatively affect the Company, its employees, or stakeholders.

2. Scope of Reportable Concerns
This policy covers the reporting of any suspected wrongdoing, including but not limited to:

  • Bribery or corruption
  • Fraud or financial misconduct
  • Abuse of power or conflict of interest
  • Theft, misappropriation of company assets
  • Violation of company policies or procedures
  • Breach of laws or regulatory requirements
  • Unethical or improper business practices
  • Any conduct that may damage the reputation of the Company

3. Who Can Report
This policy applies to all individuals associated with First Laser Technology, including:

  • Employees
  • Directors and management
  • Contractors and consultants
  • Suppliers and vendors
  • Business partners
  • Customers or members of the public

4. Reporting Channels
Reports can be made through the following channels:

Email: compliance@firstlaser.my
Written Report: Management / Compliance Officer
Direct Reporting: Immediate supervisor or senior management

The whistleblower should provide as much detail as possible, including:

  • Description of the incident
  • Names of individuals involved
  • Date and location of occurrence
  • Any supporting evidence if available

Anonymous reports may also be accepted; however, sufficient information should be provided to enable proper investigation.

5. Confidentiality
All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality. The identity of the whistleblower will be protected to the fullest extent possible unless disclosure is required by law.

6. Protection Against Retaliation
First Laser Technology strictly prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals who report concerns in good faith.

No employee or stakeholder will be penalized, dismissed, harassed, or discriminated against for raising legitimate concerns.

Any retaliation against a whistleblower will result in disciplinary action.

7. Investigation Process
All reported concerns will be reviewed and investigated promptly by the appropriate management personnel.

Investigations will be conducted fairly, objectively, and confidentially. Appropriate corrective actions will be taken if wrongdoing is confirmed.

8. False or Malicious Reports
While the Company encourages reporting of genuine concerns, any individual who deliberately submits false or malicious allegations may be subject to disciplinary action.

9. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure its effectiveness and compliance with applicable laws and corporate governance standards.
